Luther and Gracie Orr (daughter of Frank Orr) had married in Aug. 16, 1906, 5 months prior to Luther's death. A few months after his death, Gracie gave birth to their only child, a daughter, Silpa Vernon, on Sept. 13, 1907. She remarried to Mr. Elzie Brown Jun. 25, 1910, who adopted the toddler.
